Poco Ropa is an independent importer and retailer of children's clothes and baby equipment and was established in 2001.
Poco Ropa is run by
two mums. The business was originally designed to be managed around
the needs of their young families. Over the last two years the
company has more than doubled its turnover and the IT system of old
PCs and laptops are beginning to show their age.
Poco Ropa chooses Extrasys
Alison Nye, MD and co-founder of Poco Ropa explains why they made the decision to switch to the Extrasys online desktop solution.
"What is important to the way we work is that our files, customer records, stock control system etc can be accessed from any PC. So whether we are in the showroom, the back-office, on a buying trip in Spain or simply working from home we can easily access all the information that we need. Plus, because we are not IT experts the built in support package was very appealing. And finally, because all the applications and data are hosted by Extrasys we can make our laptops and PCs last for another couple of years, which means we have more cash to spend on new stock and promoting our business."
